Mudras are gestures that seal or lock-in certain energies in our bodies. There are many types of mudras but the most common are hand mudras – or yoga for the hands.
This mudra helps restore and maintain the balance of fluids in the body.
Find a comfortable place to sit,allow the hands to rest on the thighs palm facing up, relax the shoulders and bring your awareness to your breath.
Touch the tip of the thumb to the tip of the little finger together, both right and left hand, and let the other fingers open naturally.
Sit for 5-10 minutes, as long as you are comfortable and calm as experts do not agree on how long a mudra should be held in order to feel the benefits.
